Home to the largest variety of species in one location, offering guests a chance to interact with and enjoy safe, up-close viewing of animals in naturalistic habitats. Meet rescued jaguars, toucans, and sloths in Costa Rica!
This Guanacaste Animal Sanctuary at Diamante Park is a haven for a diverse range of Costa Rican animals in need. Some of these animals were born in other wildlife management programs for scientific and educational purposes, while others have been rescued and placed in our care by Costa Rican authorities. These animals, unfit for life in the wild, are cared for by a dedicated team of qualified professionals.
The sanctuary is renowned for its world-class habitat designs, tailored to meet the needs of each species. These unique habitats allow guests to view and learn about the animals' biology, ecology, and natural history.
The sanctuary bilingual team is celebrated for their excellent customer service and educational focus, raising awareness among visitors and locals about the importance of respecting and protecting wildlife. We work closely with professionals in biology and veterinary medicine, under the technical and legal supervision of SINAC, the government entity responsible for the country’s wildlife.
