This is an easy guided walk to the crater viewpoint, this crater is over a mile across and 1050 feet deep. 

As we ascend the mountain, we'll pass by coffee plantations, fern, flower, and strawberry farms, painting a vibrant landscape of colors. The shift in temperature and vegetation signals our approach to the lush cloud forest of Poas Volcano

Having erupted 40 times since 1828, including in April 2017, it presents a captivating sight. At the volcano, we'll marvel at the impressive main crater with its sulfur fumaroles and trek along a trail to the picturesque Botos Lagoon, discovering the diverse ecosystems within the park.
