Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve is located 3 hours drive from Jaco Beach and Los Suenos area,  and has been visited by tourists and biologists from all over the world for over decades. 

Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve is a nesting site for the famous brightly lit Quetzal and other birds, this incredible environment is home to many tropical mammals like sloths, monkeys, reptiles and many insects including butterflies. 

During the tour our experienced naturalist guides will provide you with the most fundamental information of the nature that surrounds the area and the natural history of Monteverde. 

You can also choose to make either the adrenaline Zip line tour, flying over the tree tops and through the clouds, or walking the cloud forest hanging bridges, some of them over 100 feet above ground besides incredible flora.

 After the activity you can do some souvenir shopping and see different areas of interest.
